The Max Adventure Race: Sydney, held at Royal National Park, NSW, on 30 May 2026, offers an exciting introduction to the dynamic sport of adventure racing.
Teams of two will compete in a fast-paced, multi-discipline race that challenges participants to transition seamlessly between mountain biking, trail running, and kayaking multiple times throughout the event.
This continuous race lasts between 2 to 6 hours, providing a rigorous physical and mental challenge with no downtime. Teams must remain together at all times, emphasizing teamwork and strategy.
Participants will use basic navigation skills to locate checkpoints, which are accessible via established tracks and paths, though occasional cross-country travel may offer faster routes. Prior experience beyond being able to read a street directory is not required, making this race suitable for newcomers and seasoned racers alike.
