Join us on Sunday, 23 November 2025 for the Melbourne City Race, a unique long-distance running and navigation event set in the historic Williamstown Seaport, Melbourne.

Experience a scenic course featuring iconic landmarks such as Nelson Place, The Strand, Point Gellibrand, and the Timeball Tower. Along the route, you'll also encounter Williamstown's charming ships, yachts, piers, pubs, and parks that make this location truly special.

Participants will navigate between checkpoints using a map, selecting their preferred course distance from approximately 3km, 4km, 6km, 8km, or 10km. Distances reflect optimal route choices, offering flexibility for all fitness levels.

No prior map reading or navigation experience is required. The event welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers alike, with clear instructions provided to ensure everyone can participate confidently.

This event is proudly organized by volunteers on behalf of Orienteering Victoria and the Dandenong Ranges Orienteering Club, operating as a not-for-profit community initiative.
