The Mooloolaba Sprint Triathlon returns on Saturday, 14 March 2026, as part of the Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival. This sprint-distance event features a 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run, following the same scenic course as the standard Mooloolaba Triathlon but at half the distance.

The swim starts at the eastern end of Mooloolaba Main Beach, with a flag-shaped, anti-clockwise 750m course. The bike leg includes three laps over Alexandra Headlands, and the run offers a single lap along the stunning Sunshine Coast coastline.

Ideal for newcomers aiming to complete their first triathlon and seasoned athletes seeking a fast-paced challenge, the sprint distance is accessible and competitive for all skill levels. Participants must check in and rack their bikes on Friday, 13 March 2026.
