The Mt Beauty Running Festival on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Mt Beauty, VIC, Australia, offers one of the country's most scenic foot races, emphasizing fun for participants of all ages.
Choose from four exciting distances: a 3km fun run/walk, 10.6km run, half marathon (21.1km), or 18km trail run.
The 18km trail run delivers an exhilarating adventure into the national park, featuring two shallow river crossings, scenic ups and downs on 4WD tracks and single tracks.
The 10.6km run follows a sealed, flat path around the pondage and alongside the pristine Kiewa River to Pebble Beach.
The half marathon consists of two laps of the 10.6km course.
The 3km fun run/walk is a flat, traffic-free loop around Mt Beauty Pondage with panoramic views of Mt Bogong—perfect for children and prams.
This is a cup-free event; bring your own cup or water bottle to refill at aid stations.
