Run The Tan Showcase is an annual Melbourne running event held on the iconic Tan Track, bringing together elite athletes, school teams, emergency services and everyday runners for a day of competition and community spirit.
The event features multiple showcase races, including a public fun run open to all abilities, with participants able to enter as individuals or as part of a team. It also highlights elite male and female athletes, creating a fast-paced spectator experience alongside the open community events.
Designed as both a sporting challenge and a fundraising initiative, the showcase supports mental health causes and encourages broad community participation. Spectators can attend free of charge, making it an accessible day out for locals and visitors alike.
Set for Sunday 18 April 2027 in Melbourne, the event celebrates one of the city’s most famous running circuits while offering a welcoming atmosphere for runners, supporters and families.
