About this event
South Beach Splash is an open-water swimming event at South Beach in South Fremantle, forming part of the WOW Swims community swim series. The series features open-water swims at locations across the Perth region, including beaches, river foreshore and inland waterways.
Swimmers can choose from three distances: a 250-metre Try It swim, an 800-metre course or a 1600-metre swim. The range of distances makes the event suitable for first-time open-water swimmers as well as participants seeking a longer challenge.
The day also incorporates State and National Open Water Championship events, adding a competitive element for eligible championship entrants alongside the community swims. South Beach provides a family-friendly setting for a day of swimming and beachside activity.
