About this event

Wild Earth Coastal High Trail Run is one of Queensland’s iconic trail running events, set in the Gold Coast Hinterland and based around the Binna Burra area. It takes runners through the scenic trails of Lamington and Springbrook National Parks, with course options of 28km and 50km for the 2026 event.

Expect a challenging off-road experience that showcases steep ridgelines, lush rainforest and sweeping hinterland views. The event is known for its strong trail-running atmosphere, with aid stations, electronic timing, finisher medals and a course designed to highlight some of South-East Queensland’s most memorable terrain.

Held on Saturday, 29 August 2026, the race offers a demanding and rewarding day on the trails for experienced runners looking for a classic Queensland mountain running adventure.
