Balwyn Blazers is a member of the Eastern District Junior Basketball Association (EDJBA), offering basketball for boys and girls aged 6 to 21 years across grades A to D, catering to all abilities.
Training and Competition:
- Two seasons per year: Winter Season (Terms 2 & 3) and Summer Season (Terms 4 & 1) with games played on Saturdays at venues across north-eastern suburbs
- Players assigned to teams with a dedicated Team Coach and Team Manager for the season
- Teams graded to play against similar standards, ensuring players compete at their appropriate level
- Morning and afternoon game times available; players can request AM or PM slots based on other commitments
Participation Philosophy:
- The club prioritises developing social and basketball skills alongside competitive play
- Suitable for all skill levels, from first-time players to experienced competitors
