Activity Details

Druids Cricket Club offers junior cricket programs for children aged 4 to 16 in a fun, supportive, and nurturing environment. With over 240 registered participants, the club provides excellent opportunities for young cricketers of all skill levels.

  • Little Crickets (Ages 4-8): 60-minute sessions held on Friday evenings from 5:00-6:00pm at Kevin Shorten Reserve. Two seasonal programs run from mid-October to Christmas (8 weeks) and late January to end-February (4 weeks).
  • Junior Teams (Ages 9-16): Competitive and social cricket programs where players enjoy games with friends while developing their skills. The club has produced many Western Region representative players in recent seasons.
  • Coaching: Programs are delivered by Level 1 and 2 qualified coaches, ensuring quality instruction across all age groups.
  • Participation: Play fun games of cricket in a friendly, family atmosphere with both new and established players.

The club is affiliated with the Victorian Turf Cricket Association and has a proud history of premiership success since its establishment in 1928.
