Glen Iris Scorpions Basketball Club is a junior domestic basketball club affiliated with the Waverley Basketball Association in Melbourne, offering competitive opportunities for children across multiple age groups.
- Training Sessions: Weekly training is provided for U8 through U14 age groups, with U8 and U10s training Thursday afternoons/evenings, and U12 and U14 boys also on Thursday afternoons/evenings, while U12 and U14 girls train Monday afternoons/evenings. Training for U16, U18, and U20 age groups can be arranged upon request. Sessions are held at Waverley Basketball Stadium, Oakleigh Recreation Centre, or other venues as needed.
- Competition and Games: The club competes in the Waverley Basketball Association competitions with games scheduled by the WBA. U8–U14 boys and girls, and U16 boys play on Saturdays, U18 and U20 boys play Sundays (afternoon/evening), and U16, U18, and U20 girls play Tuesdays (evening).
- Registration: New players can register via the Basketball Victoria PlayHQ platform. Annual fees include individual club fees plus Basketball Victoria licence fees ($29 for juniors, $43 for players 18+). If teams are full, interested players can be waitlisted by emailing the club Registrar.
