Activity Details
Heidelberg Volleyball Club offers junior volleyball training at Darebin Community Sports Stadium in Reservoir. Its Junior Development Program is for children aged 8–18, with beginner and intermediate sessions covering serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, court movement and teamwork.
Junior training runs during school terms, with Wednesday and Thursday classes at Darebin. Players can choose training only or training with social games and tournaments. Participation in weekly social games and tournaments is restricted to players attending training, and Volleyball Victoria membership is required.
The club also fields youth and adult men’s and women’s teams in the State Volleyball League. Players must attend selection trials to be considered for a team.
To join junior training, submit the club’s online expression of interest and select the Darebin venue. Wait for the club’s confirmation email before registering. The junior player and parent code of conduct must be signed and returned before the first class.
