The Derwent Sailing Squadron offers extensive opportunities for sailing enthusiasts of all levels to participate in training and sailing activities.
- Training Sessions: Provides a full range of sailing courses including motor boat, marine radio, safety and sea courses, and start crewing courses suitable for beginners through to experienced sailors. Private tuition is also available.
- Play Opportunities: Hosts over 150 yacht racing events annually, including social races and competitive regattas, with a well-established racing calendar and results published for members. The club also organizes cruising events such as the 'String of Pearls' cruise.
- Membership Details: Membership offers access to sailing programs, the marina facilities, training courses, and the ability to participate in races and cruising activities. New members are welcomed and can join through the club’s website.
