Activity Details
Torquay Tornadoes Hockey Club welcomes players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. The club provides pathways for progression across multiple competitive levels.
Training Sessions:
- Junior training (Under 8, 10, 12, 14, 17): Held on Wednesdays from March, commencing at 5:30 PM for Under 12, 14, 17 age groups
- Senior training: Wednesdays from 6:30 PM
- Beginner program 'Hooked into Hockey': Commences February/March
Competition & Play:
- The club fields multiple competitive teams across men's, women's, and junior divisions
- Current teams include 3 men's teams, 2 women's teams, and junior teams from Under 9 through Under 17
- Matches are held at Geelong Hockey Centre, Stead Park, Corio
- Hockey season commences after Easter, with regular weekend fixtures through the season
Membership:
New players are always welcome to join. The club operates as an inclusive, welcoming, and family-friendly environment within the Geelong Hockey Association.
