Activity Details
Melbourne Beaches Volleyball Association supports beach volleyball at South Melbourne Beach in Albert Park, working with VicBeach to provide playing opportunities and pathways for beginners, juniors and experienced players.
Players can take part in the VicBeach Ranking Series, with graded men’s and women’s pairs divisions. Junior membership options also cover beach volleyball training with Vic Beach Volleyball Academy, including a non-tournament option for young players who are training but are not yet ready to compete. Social membership options cover Republica, Sunset Sessions, training and social tournaments.
Join online through the association’s membership registration page and choose the membership category that matches your age and intended activities. Victorian players must hold MBVA membership before playing in VicBeach events. Tournament entry is a separate online step: enter with a partner before the closing date for the round, as registrations are not accepted at the beach. National competitions require the appropriate full membership category.
