Welcome to the Red & Black Running Team.
Do you want to have fun, make new friends, get fitter, participate in fun runs or just take the first step in your running?
The Red & Black Running Team is the group for you!
We welcome runners and walkers of all ages, abilities and aspirations.
Our Athletics Australia accredited coaches take regular team training sessions with plenty of variety and fun to enable our members to achieve their goals.
Our home parkrun is Maribyrnong parkrun (Burton Cres, Maribyrnong). Parkrun is a FREE timed 5km event held on Saturday mornings around the world.
We are a social group too – with plenty of ‘non running’ fun events throughout the year. A coffee and chat post parkrun or Sunday long easy run is often another great way to be social with other members.
We support our RB team runners who wish to run in any of the mass participation fun runs, such as Run 4 The Kids, Run Melbourne, Melbourne Marathon Festival, Mother’s Day Classic, Great Ocean Road Running Festival and more.
We are supported by Athletics Essendon.
Red and Black Running Incorporated is a Recreational Running Group affiliated with Athletics Victoria. All affiliated Recreational Running Groups have accredited Recreational Running Coaches to help you be the best runner you can be.
Coaching Disciplines: Road running with distances of 5km, 10kms, Half-Marathons and Marathons, some trail running. Suitable for beginners to the more experienced, those returning to running, or wanting to run with a group.
