Activity Details

Richmond Riots Basketball Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run basketball club welcoming players aged 6 years and above with no experience necessary. The club currently operates 56 junior basketball teams ranging from U9's to U22's, providing opportunities to learn, develop, and enjoy basketball in a safe and supportive environment.

Getting Started:

  • Complete an expression of interest form through the club website
  • Register as a player on PlayHQ prior to each competition season
  • Pay the seasonal registration fee, which covers Basketball Victoria registration, match fees, and club operating costs

Competition & Training:

  • Two competition seasons per year (Summer and Winter)
  • Access to formal team training sessions and matches through the Hawthorn Basketball Association
  • Teams led by volunteer coaches and managers

Registered players are required to wear the club uniform (shorts and singlet) for all matches. For more information and to express your interest, visit the club website.
