Southern Highlands Bushwalkers brings people together to explore bushland and national parks around Mittagong, Bowral and Berrima, with outings further afield. The club aims to build friendships through shared outdoor adventures and provide opportunities to develop bushwalking skills.

Day walks form the core of the programme, ranging from moderately easy outings to strenuous walks. Overnight backpacking and car-camping trips are also part of the club’s activities. Some routes involve steep ground, creek crossings or off-track sections, so choose a walk that matches your fitness and experience.

Membership is for adults aged 18 and over. Children can take part in walks when accompanied by a responsible member. Visitors may join a suitable walk with the walk leader’s approval; acceptance depends on the demands of the route. Dogs are not permitted on club walks.
