Surf Coast Volleyball Association offers junior development, mixed social competition and advanced training at Wurdi Baierr Stadium in Torquay. Thursday sessions run during Victorian public-school terms.
- Play Volley, also known as Spikezone, introduces children aged 8–13 to volleyball through skills and games, using smaller courts, lower nets and lighter balls. Children can register individually or with friends.
- Junior development is for players aged 13–17, with coaching for a range of abilities.
- Adult players can join mixed social team competition, while advanced training provides practice for players developing their skills or preparing for tournaments.
To join, follow the association’s online registration steps for Volleyball Victoria membership and affiliation, then arrange association membership before playing. Temporary trial membership is an exception to the usual membership requirement.
New players can request a trial through the online trial registration form and must complete the waiver before submitting their request. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver and attend the trial session.
