PCYC Maitland is a historic community sports hub located at 3 James St, Maitland NSW 2320, Australia. Established in 1952 and relocated to its current site in 1967, the venue features modern facilities including a fully equipped gymnastics hall expanded by 40% in 2018 and upgraded with full air conditioning in early 2025.
The gymnastics facility caters to all ages and skill levels, from 18-month-olds in beginner classes to seniors in disability groups. Programs include GymSTAR recreational classes split by age and ability, pathways to competitive Women's Artistic Gymnastics (levels 1-8), Trampolining, FreeG, and Team Gym.
A recently renovated multi-function hall supports children's activities, school groups, and organized sporting competitions. Additional offerings encompass a gym, dance classes, confidence-building programs, leadership courses, and the U-Nites program for troubled youth providing a safe, structured environment.
Recreational programs focus on youth empowerment, crime prevention, rehabilitation support, and community partnerships. The venue operates Monday to Friday 9:00am-8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm, with disability access, membership fees, and volunteering opportunities available. No referral required.
