About this event

The 2027 AusCycling Observed Trials National Championships will be held at Mt Stromlo MTB Park in Canberra from Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 February 2027, hosted by Canberra Off Road Cyclists.

Australia’s leading observed trials riders will compete for national honours and the green and gold jersey in a demanding test of balance, precision, bike control and consistency. Competitors will navigate a series of challenging obstacles, with careful line choice and clean riding essential to success.

The championships will take place alongside Rounds 3 and 4 of the AusCycling XCO National Series, creating a full weekend of mountain bike racing at one of Australia’s premier riding venues. Competition is scheduled across elite, masters and junior categories.

Riders must meet AusCycling eligibility requirements and hold a current Race membership, Club membership or Day Licence. Entries are expected to open in November 2026 and close in February 2027, with entry fees to be confirmed.
