About this event

The 2027 AusCycling MTB National Series returns to Canberra for a double-header weekend of elite cross-country mountain bike racing from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 February 2027.

Rounds 3 and 4 will be held at Mt Stromlo MTB Park, one of Australia’s prominent mountain bike venues. The programme features national-level cross-country Olympic racing, alongside the short-track format, with riders competing across the weekend for valuable series points.

The event also forms part of the UCI Mountain Bike Continental Series – Oceania Series, with Rounds 1 and 2 scheduled alongside the national series racing. This brings a strong international dimension to a weekend showcasing high-level mountain biking in the Australian Capital Territory.

Hosted by Canberra Off Road Cyclists, the event offers spectators the chance to watch technical, fast-paced racing on the established Mt Stromlo trails and experience one of the key rounds on the Australian mountain bike calendar.
