The Black Snake Trail Race, hosted by Cairns Road Runners, takes place on Sunday, 16 November 2025 at Clohesy River Road / Cedar Park Road in Cairns, Queensland. This scenic trail run is set within the beautiful Dinden National Park.
Participants can select from three race distances: 5km, 12km, or 21km. All courses follow an out-and-back route along the dirt Clohesy River Road, featuring one or two creek crossings that add challenge and adventure to the run.
The 12km and 21km distances include a highlight visit to the magnificent Clohesy River Fig Tree, offering a unique natural landmark along the trail. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trail runner, the Black Snake Trail Race promises a rewarding outdoor experience amidst lush rainforest surroundings.
