Come on a guided walking tour with Melinda Vassallo, author of Perfect Match; Street Art of the Inner West, and discover where artists work
This 3 hour walk will take you on an adventure of the creative and culturally diverse Inner West suburb of Marrickville. Meander the colourful streets and laneways where graffiti and street artist roam while discovering where art is made. Explore hidden artists' studios, independent galleries and quirky artist run initiatives.
Starting at Marrickville train station, the tour will be approximately 3 hours casual walk, involving some hills. You will discover some Street Art and learn about the artists and their work. Visit artist spaces and studios along the way. This walk will end near Sydenham.
Wear comfortable shoes for a long walk and be properly prepared for the weather.
