About this event

Take on the Eungella Rainforest Run, part of the Off The Beaten Track Trail Run Series, and explore the secluded rainforest trails and diverse terrain of Eungella National Park and the surrounding Crediton Reserves. Set among ever-changing natural vistas, the event combines scenic forest tracks, remote backroads, steep climbs and fast-paced hidden dirt trails.

Choose from three distances:

  • 5km Short Course: A fun 2.5km out-and-back rainforest course, ideal for beginners and junior cross-country athletes seeking a manageable challenge.
  • 11km Mid Course: A loop beginning near Eungella Dam Road, with mixed terrain, a chance of wet feet and several climbs. Water and refreshments will be available along the course.
  • 18km Remote Run: A demanding course for experienced trail runners, featuring rolling descents, punchy climbs, diverse terrain and approximately 590m of elevation gain.

Race check-in opens at 7.00am, followed by the race briefing at 7.45am. All events start at 8.00am, with the start and finish located near the corner of Eungella Dam Road and Hazelwood Road.

Prize money will be available, adding an extra incentive for runners to test themselves across the rainforest trails. Whether taking on the short course or committing to the full 18km remote challenge, participants can expect a memorable trail-running experience in the natural surroundings of Eungella.
