Get ready for the Explore Gold Coast Adventure Race on Saturday, 18 July 2026, where teamwork, endurance, and navigation take centre stage. This thrilling event challenges teams of two to run, kayak, mountain bike, and navigate their way through a rugged, unmarked off-road course along the stunning Gold Coast.
Choose between the 15km half course or the 30km full course, both designed to test your skills and determination. Using only a map and compass, teams must locate checkpoints and reach the finish line within the 6-hour time limit. The first team to cross the line having completed the course takes the win!
The full course is ideal for beginners with solid fitness and seasoned racers looking to push their limits or fine-tune their adventure racing abilities. The half course offers a more accessible experience, perfect for families or anyone eager to discover the excitement of adventure racing in a supportive environment.
