Melbourne Frontyard Ultra
Event location
Description
Organiser: Ultra Series Australia
The Melbourne Frontyard Ultra is a challenging last-person-standing endurance race taking place on Saturday, 2 May 2026, at Studley Park in Melbourne, Victoria.
Runners complete a 6.71km loop on the hour, every hour, continuing until only one runner remains. Each loop must be finished within the hour to avoid elimination. When all but one runner fail to complete a lap within the time limit, the final competitor must complete one last solo loop within the cutoff to be declared the winner. Failure to do so results in a Did Not Finish (DNF) status.
Set in the scenic trails of Studley Park, this event features the popular backyard ultra format, combining endurance, strategy, and camaraderie in a vibrant urban setting. The Melbourne Frontyard Ultra offers a unique test of stamina and mental resilience, embodying the "One Loop, Endless Limits" spirit of Ultra Series Australia.
Distances:
1 x 6.71K per hour - Last one standing format
