About this event

Take on the spectacular alpine trails of Victoria’s High Country at the Mt Buller Sky Run. Starting in Mt Buller Village, the event traverses alpine ridgelines and winds through snow gum forests, offering a choice of distances to suit a range of trail-running abilities.

Runners can choose from the challenging 45km and 36km courses, the 22km course, or the shorter 5km run. A dedicated Kids’ 2km Trail Run gives younger participants the chance to experience the mountain in a fun and accessible format.

Race-day starts are scheduled throughout the morning, with the longer courses beginning earlier and the 5km and Kids’ 2km events following later. The event takes place on Sunday, 6 December 2026, with registration and race activities centred around Mt Buller Village.
