Newcastle Cross Country: Mt Sugarloaf

Description
Newcastle Cross Country Club's Mt Sugarloaf Keyhole race is a popular event in the Hunter Region of NSW, featuring an out-and-back course along the fire trail starting from the summit of Mt Sugarloaf.
The trail is generally well-maintained but can become slippery following wet weather and is occasionally shared with off-road vehicles. Participants should be prepared for cooler temperatures at the summit from mid-afternoon onwards and are advised to bring warm clothing for after the run.
Entry to this event requires club membership, which is open to all and must be completed online by midnight on the Friday prior to the Saturday race day.
