About this event

SCADaddle for Research - Sydney Bay is a 5 kilometre community event in Mosman, New South Wales, held on Sunday 25 October 2026.

Participants can walk, skip or run the course, which is described as fast and flat on road terrain. The event supports research into spontaneous coronary artery dissection, or SCAD, a condition that can cause heart attack or cardiac arrest in otherwise fit, healthy adults with no typical risk factors.

The event is organised as a fundraising run, with registration and donations tax deductible in Australia. Early registrants may also receive a free SCAD t-shirt while supplies last.

Money raised goes towards Australian medical research aimed at better understanding and beating SCAD heart attacks.
