Build a stronger windsurfing foundation across four consecutive mornings at McCrae Yacht Club. This Australian Sailing Start Windsurfing program runs from Sunday 10 January to Wednesday 13 January 2027 and gives beginners more time to learn, practise and gain confidence on the water.
Four Mornings at McCrae
Each course day runs from 8:30am to 11:30am at McCrae Yacht Club. The program introduces the essential skills needed to windsurf safely with assistance in a supportive club environment, with all equipment and gear provided by the accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
Designed for Beginners
This course is for participants who wish to begin windsurfing and want a more complete introduction than a single taster session. Participants need to be water confident. The extended format gives time to settle into the board, sail and wind awareness over multiple sessions.
Australian Sailing Course
The program is listed as Australian Sailing - Windsurfing: Start Windsurfing. Participants require an Australian Sailing Number during registration and gain a Start Windsurfing completion certificate after completing the course.
Cost and Registration
The non-member fee is $400, with members receiving 20% off. Registration closes at 9:00pm on Saturday 9 January 2027. Use the registration option on this event page to book.
