Finish the year with a first taste of windsurfing at McCrae Yacht Club. This one-day Australian Sailing Start Windsurfing course introduces beginners to the essential skills for safely getting on the board, handling the sail and moving with assistance.
Course Time
The program runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday 19 December 2026 at McCrae Yacht Club. It is a hands-on session with equipment and gear supplied by the accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
Who It Is For
The course is designed for participants who wish to begin windsurfing. Water confidence is required, and participants should be ready for an active on-water session. No previous windsurfing course is listed as a prerequisite for Start Windsurfing.
Skills and Outcome
Participants learn the foundations needed to windsurf safely with assistance in a supportive environment. Completing the program provides a Start Windsurfing completion certificate through the Australian Sailing pathway.
Cost and Registration
