Take to the water at the Rockingham round of the Swimming WA Open Water Series on Sunday, 6 December 2026. Held at Rockingham Foreshore, this all-ages community swim welcomes participants aged 9 and over, from first-time ocean swimmers to experienced competitors.
Choose from 500 m, 1.25 km, 2.5 km, 5 km and 7.5 km courses, offering accessible options for developing swimmers as well as longer distances for endurance athletes. The event also incorporates the Western Australian Open Water Championships over 5 km and 7.5 km.
With a sheltered coastal setting and a range of distances, the Rockingham round is suited to swimmers looking to enjoy an organised ocean swim, build open-water experience or compete for series and championship honours. Further event details are to be released.
