About this event

Ultra-Trail Australia is a multi-day trail running festival in the Blue Mountains, based in Katoomba and set against the backdrop of World Heritage listed national park country.

The event runs from 13 to 16 May 2027 and features four main trail races of 161.1km, 101km, 51km and 22km, plus additional shorter events including an 11.4km race and a 1km kids’ run.

Runners can expect steep climbs, rugged terrain and spectacular mountain scenery, with the event hub at Scenic World in Katoomba.

It attracts thousands of runners, spectators and support crew for a major celebration of endurance trail running in one of Australia’s most iconic outdoor destinations.
