IYC Sailing Incorporated is a not-for-profit club supporting sailing, windsurfing, and radio yachts. We welcome members of all ages and skill levels to join our vibrant community.

  • Our sailing season runs from September to April, with regular club events nearly every Saturday afternoon.
  • Members typically arrive from 11:00am for rigging and equipment checks, with racing briefings at 1:15pm and races starting at 1:30pm.
  • During daylight saving, informal sailing sessions are held on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00pm.
  • We cater to all proficiency levels, encouraging novices to participate in racing to develop their skills quickly.
  • Club-owned equipment is available for members to use at no charge while learning.
  • Join us at the Illawarra Yacht Club for a full afternoon of sailing, camaraderie, and skill development.
