About us: β Established c. 1983. β Suitable for Ages 50+. β Participants only walk the distance they are comfortable with 'on the day'.

General:
β Our walk coordinator provides various route options to suit all levels of fitness.
β All physical capacities are welcome at all times.
β We conduct a few social events throughout the year, including sausage sizzles, lunches and community events.
β No barriers: If you are unable to walk or do not wish to walk 'on the day', that does not preclude you from joining in on the day's activities and/or social events.
β Club participants include 'strolling walkers', 'quicker walkers', social buddies, spectators and casual volunteers.
Our daytime walks:
β "Mid-morning" weekly walks (Mar - Nov)
β Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
β Every Tuesday we walk at a new location.
β Style: casual
β Pace: slow stroll; up to a steady speed.
β Distance: 1-2 km (or up to 6 km return)
β Costs: $20.00 covers the annual membership fee, then all walks are free.
β Location: North of the River, South of the River, Walyunga National Park (in the northeast), The Hills (Mundaring, Darlington, Hovea, Glen Forrest) and The Beach.
β Age: 50+
Our (free) evening walks:
β "Sunset evening" fortnightly walks (Dec - Feb);
β Location: Charles Paterson Park, Burswood
β Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
β Cost: free
β Suits: all members of the public
β Age: 0 - 99
Note: children must be supervised and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
