🤩 Come along and give us a go. 🆓 A free 'try-out' day is available on any scheduled morning walk.
About us:
● Established c. 1983. That's 43 years and still going strong!
● Suitable for Ages 50+.
● Participants only walk the distance they are comfortable with 'on the day'.

General:
● Our walk coordinator provides various route options to suit all levels of fitness.
● All physical capacities are welcome at all times.
● We conduct a few social events throughout the year, including sausage sizzles, lunches and community events.
● No barriers: If you are unable to walk or do not wish to walk 'on the day', that does not preclude you from joining in on the day's activities and/or social events.
● Club participants include 'strolling walkers', 'quicker walkers', social buddies, spectators and casual volunteers.
Our daytime walks:
● Every Tuesday
● "Mid-morning" weekly walks (Mar - Nov).
● Time: 9:45 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
● Each week we meet at a different walking location.
● Walk style: very casual.
● Pace: anything from a slow stroll and upwards.
● Distance: 1-2 km (or up to 6 km return).
● Costs: $20.00 annually covers the yearly membership renewal fee, then all walks are free.
● Locations: North of the River, South of the River, The Beach (North Fremantle, Hillarys, Coogee, Mullaloo).
● High-ground locations: John Forrest National Park (northeast), Walyunga National Park (northeast), The Hills (Mundaring, Darlington, Hovea).
● Age: 50+
● Grandkids during the school holidays attend as our special guests
● Spectators are always welcome. You may elect to not walk on any particular day.
● Weekly attendance is optional; attend at the frequency that suits you.
Our evening walks:
● "Sunset evening" fortnightly walks (Dec - Feb).
● Location: Charles Paterson Park, Burswood.
● Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
● Cost: FREE.
● Suits: all members of the public.
● Age: 0 - 99.
● Family Friendly.
● Pets on leash are welcome.
Note: children must be supervised and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
