Activity Details

Maylands Yacht Club offers a variety of sailing opportunities suitable for all ages and skill levels. Training sessions are held on Sunday mornings during the summer season (October to April), focusing on skill development for dinghy classes like Laser, Sabre, and Mirror.

The club runs two Learn to Sail programs for all ages during summer, plus Junior Introduction to Sailing courses during school holidays for school-aged children. A Training Fleet provides ongoing coaching to help sailors improve beyond beginner levels.

Competitive racing takes place every Sunday afternoon in summer, with a Winter Series on the first Sunday of each month from May to September. Radio Control sailing is also available on Saturday afternoons.

Membership provides access to regular social events and a vibrant sailing community at the Swan River location, with clear pathways for new members to join and participate.
