The Kunanyi Trail Series: Knockers Solstice is the thrilling opener to the 2026 series—a captivating night trail run on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Knocklofty, TAS, Australia.
Perched above West Hobart, Knocklofty Reserve offers Hobart's closest trails to the CBD, nestled in the foothills of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Experience this midwinter solstice adventure by headtorch, weaving through native bushland teeming with rare plants, wildlife like wallabies, bandicoots, and owls, and breathtaking views of Hobart's glowing city lights below.[1][2]
Select your challenge: the Enduro 13km or Sport 5km. Both routes blend wide, smooth firetrails with well-crafted single tracks, a touch of technical terrain, and exciting new sections like the shared-use trail across Noah’s Saddle, super-runnable Knocklofty, and Yellow Hippo Track.[1]
