The Murray Bridge Triathlon Festival will take place on Sunday, 29 March 2026, at Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge, SA. This exciting event features five race distances: Long Course, Olympic, Sprint, Enticer, and Kids/Mini, catering to all levels of triathletes.
The festival offers a fast and scenic course centered around the iconic Bunyip at Sturt Reserve, showcasing the highlights of the River City while following the Murray River's edge. Participants will experience a unique moment running across the Murray River bridge, which will be closed to traffic for the event.
In 2026, the festival proudly incorporates the Long Course State Championships, featuring a challenging 2 km swim, 60 km bike, and 15 km run. Other race distances include:
- Olympic: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run (solo or team)
- Enticer: 300 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Kids/Mini (untimed): 100 m swim, 2.6 km bike, 1 km run
