About this event
The Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon, held on 9 November 2025 at Canberra Lakes & Trails, ACT, Australia, is a premier endurance event showcasing the stunning natural landscapes of Australia’s national capital.
This challenging race comprises three consecutive off-road triathlons covering a total distance of 150 km. Competitors will swim a combined 6 km across three separate lakes, mountain bike approximately 95 km over rugged terrain, and run a marathon distance of 42 km while ascending and descending ten peaks along the course.
Participants can compete solo—a formidable test of endurance and mental strength—or as part of relay teams consisting of 3 to 9 members. While solo completion is one of the most demanding single-day sporting challenges, most athletes choose to race in teams, enhancing the experience through teamwork, strategy, and shared determination.
The course traverses diverse terrain within Canberra Nature Park, including reserves and ridges such as Black Mountain, Mt Majura, Mt Ainslie, and Red Hill, offering an exhilarating and comprehensive exploration of Canberra’s natural beauty from multiple perspectives.
