Description
Sweat vs Steam is a distinctive running event held on Sunday, 16 November 2025, along the scenic Murray River trails in Echuca, Victoria. Runners challenge themselves to outpace the world’s oldest operating wooden-hulled paddle steamer as it journeys through the historic Port of Echuca.
Race distances include 10km and 5km for adults, as well as a 2km River Run and 600m Dash for children.
The event is organized by a dedicated volunteer committee from the Echuca Moama Triathlon Club, with all funds raised directly benefiting the local community.
