Organiser: Coastal Track and Trail Runners

Join the Trails and Tails event on Sunday, 24 May 2026, a dog-friendly trail run set in the scenic Cairncross State Forest near Port Macquarie on NSW’s Mid North Coast.

Choose from four distances to suit your fitness and experience level: 21km (3 laps), 14km (2 laps), 7km (1 lap), or a beginner-friendly 4km course. The 7km loop features approximately 108m of elevation gain, offering a mostly flat and enjoyable trail.

This unique event encourages dogs to run alongside their owners in a race format, so please select a distance appropriate for your dog’s fitness. All dogs must remain on a lead from the time they leave your vehicle.
