About the programme
City Community Tennis runs an Adaptive Tennis Hub at Alexandria Park Tennis Courts for people with disabilities. The programme welcomes players with physical or intellectual disabilities, autism, deafness or hearing loss, and blindness or low vision.
The hub aims to make tennis accessible to players of all ages and abilities, with opportunities to learn, play and meet other people.
What to expect
Two-hour sessions run on Saturdays from 10 am to noon. Coaching caters for beginners through to elite players, with games, match play, Cardio Tennis, strength and conditioning, and time to socialise. Sports wheelchairs are available on request, or participants may bring their own.
Fees and joining
The published standard fee is $62 per session, or $51 for Advantage members. Contact the adaptive tennis coordinator using the details on this listing before attending to discuss participation, current availability and any sports wheelchair requirements. Membership is separate from session fees; confirm the applicable membership option and price with the provider.
