Activity Details

Can Walk Can Run is a free running group and program for people living with and beyond cancer that aims to help people improve their ability to participate in a park run or fun run event. It was co-designed with a cohort of people who have lived experience of cancer as well as running coaches, health professionals, and some government staff. It is also part of a research project exploring ways of supporting community physical activity after a cancer diagnosis. The program will initially be for people with breast cancer (in January and February), breast and ovarian cancer (April and May), and then all cancers (June 2024 and onwards).
