The SCADaddle for Research is a 5km run and walk taking place in Terrigal, Central Coast on October 26, 2025. This event aims to raise awareness and vital research funds to help solve the mystery of SCAD.
Join us for a fantastic morning starting from Terrigal Haven. Whether you prefer to walk, skip, or run, bring your family and friends for the 5km course.
SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) is a rare, life-threatening heart condition. It happens when a tear forms in a heart blood vessel, potentially leading to a heart attack or sudden death. SCAD heart attacks often affect individuals without typical heart attack risk factors. The average age of those affected is just 42, and 80% of sufferers are women.
