Description
The iconic Beachside Dash returns to Dolls Point Beach, Sydney, on Sunday, 14 September 2025, offering 10km, 5km, and 2km races suitable for all fitness levels.
Starting from Peter Depena Reserve, the 5km course follows a scenic, entirely flat beachside footpath from Dolls Point to Monterey and back, perfect for achieving a personal best. The 10km race covers this route twice, while the 2km event is a flat out-and-back along the foreshore.
Now in its 18th year, the Beachside Dash is professionally timed and welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers alike. All participants receive medals, with cash prizes awarded for winners in the 10km, 5km, and 2km events. The event also features family entertainment, a BBQ, and a vibrant community atmosphere against the stunning Botany Bay backdrop.
This year introduces the inaugural Corporate Cup Challenge, a 2km race for businesses, hospitals, and community groups to compete in a fun and fast-paced contest.
All proceeds support the St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF), contributing to vital medical research in the local community.
