Celebrating its rich heritage and unique blend of athletic challenge with the scenic beauty of the Dandenong Ranges Puffing Billy Running Festival promises a weekend full of excitement and adventure for runners and spectators alike.
Puffing Billy Running Festival unfolds over two full days Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of September and includes:
Saturday 7th (Starting 8AM at Lakeside Visitor Centre Station)
1.2km Kids Dash
5km Family Fun Run
Sunday 8th (Starting 6AM at Puffing Billy Railway's Belgrave Station)
13.5km ‘Classic’ Run against Puffing Billy Locomotive
21.1km Road and Trail Half marathon
In Addition to the fun filled weekend Puffing Billy Railway Lakeside Visitor Centre offers an array of food and beverage options at the Railway Café retail offerings and exclusive access to Puffing Billy Running Festival merchandise as well as the opportunity to bask in the serene natural beauty of Emerald Lake Park post-race.
