The Shaw and Partners Coolangatta Gold 2026 is a two-day surf sports event held at Coolangatta Beach on the Gold Coast, bringing together some of the country’s fittest endurance athletes for a demanding weekend of racing.
Widely regarded as one of the toughest events in surf sports, it features multiple race formats that test strength, stamina and versatility across beach and ocean conditions.
On Saturday 17 October 2026, athletes will compete in either the Coolangatta Sprint or the Coolangatta Gold 25.6.
On Sunday 18 October 2026, the program continues with the Coolangatta Gold Youth Challenge and the Coolangatta Dash, a run-swim-run event designed as a shorter course option.
The event is staged at Coolangatta Beach and forms part of the annual surf sports calendar, with racing spread across the beachfront and ocean course.
