Sri Chinmoy 100km Road Race
Event location
Description
Organiser: Sri Chinmoy Canberra
The Sri Chinmoy 100km Road Race will be held on Saturday, 20 September 2025, at Commonwealth Park, Canberra, ACT, Australia. This challenging ultramarathon features solo runners as well as relay teams of 2 to 10 members and serves as the AUTRA National 100km Championships for 2026.
The race takes place on a scenic, certified 5km loop course on shared pathways through Commonwealth Park and Henry Rolland Park, tracing the northern foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin. Competitors complete 20 laps of this AIMS-measured course, starting near Rond Terrace West close to the southern end of Anzac Parade. The route includes paved paths, a brief out-and-back section, and passes landmarks such as the Robert Menzies statue.
Designed to test endurance and teamwork, the event begins in the late afternoon to avoid summer heat and offers a professional race environment with aid stations, food service, and a supportive atmosphere for participants and spectators alike.
