THE OX 24 Hour Run is a unique multi-lap endurance running challenge taking place at Lennox Head, NSW, Australia. Scheduled for Saturday, 14 February 2026, this event tests both physical and mental stamina over 24 hours.
Participants run together every hour on the hour, covering approximately 4.2 km each lap, aiming to reach or exceed 100 km by the end of the event. The base camp for THE OX is located at Reflections Caravan Park Lennox Head.
Runners may enter as individuals or as part of teams of 2 or 4, with the requirement that one member runs the 4.2 km lap every hour on the hour for the full 24-hour duration.
The event supports Run DIPG, a charity dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families affected by diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), the deadliest form of childhood brain cancer. THE OX honors the memory of Frankie Willow Fitzgerald, forever aged 9.
