The renowned Byron Bay Triathlon & Multisport Festival returns on Sunday, 26 April 2026, set against the stunning backdrop of Byron Bay, NSW. This iconic event offers a variety of race distances, including Olympic and Sprint triathlons, which can be completed solo, as part of a relay team, or as an “All In” team where the final team time is based on the last member to finish.
Additional race options include the Tempta distance, a Kids Triathlon with an Aquathlon alternative, and Aquabike events, catering to athletes of all ages and abilities.
The festival is proudly hosted by the Byron Tri Club and Byron Bay Cycle Club in partnership with NXsports, combining a challenging competition with Byron Bay’s famous relaxed atmosphere and spectacular ocean swim.

Triathlons (Swim + Bike + Run):
Kids' Triathlon (7-12 yrs): 100m + 3K + 400m - solo/relay
Tempta (12 yrs+): 300m + 10K + 3K - solo/relay/team
Sprint: 750m + 20K + 5K - solo/relay/team
Olympic: 1500m + 40K + 10K - solo/relay/team
